My dear friend Molly recently turned 19. I decided to make her a mini-Harry in honor of the occasion. She has been a fan of Harry Potter since age 10 and was the one who convinced me to read the series. I have been learning crochet amigurumi (yarn dolls and animals). I the patten in a library book and it made the perfect gift!

I am still a beginner at this technique, so he’s a little rough. I will refrain from listing all the mistakes I made. The hardest parts were the hair, the scar, and the glasses. His wand is made out of a toothpick colored with a marker. His glasses are made from jewelry wire wrapped in black yarn. I do wish that I had used thinner wire, but I had what I had. His eyes are small black beads, and his scar and mouth are embroidered. The scar took several tries to get right. I used thinner yarn than the pattern called for, which I think makes him even more small and cute.

This is the book that the pattern came from.
